Lecture vs. Class — What's the Difference?

In a Lecture, the emphasis is primarily on the speaker, who is usually a teacher or a guest expert, imparting knowledge, wisdom, or information to the students or audience members. The information is typically delivered verbally, sometimes with the aid of visual aids. In contrast, a Class is a learning environment, which can be physical or virtual, where students gather to learn about a particular subject.
